Warner Bros veteran Kevin McCormick departs for producer role

Kevin McCormick is stepping down from his executive position at Warner Bros after a second stint at the studio. He will transition to a producing deal that covers both films and stage productions, with The Bodyguard reboot as his first project.

McCormick held the title of EVP Production and Senior Advisor during his recent time at the studio. He contributed to projects including the Broadway run of Beetlejuice The Musical as well as films such as Elvis, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Furiosa and Juror No. 2. He will remain involved with stage adaptations of Crazy Rich Asians, A Star Is Born and Elvis.
