Whirlpool announces new general director for Brazil in reorganization

Whirlpool Corporation announced leadership changes across Latin America. Carlos Barbery takes over as general director in Brazil, succeeding Gustavo Ambar.

Barbery brings 19 years of experience at the firm and has previously led operations in multiple countries in the region as well as global initiatives in finance and marketing.

In the same restructuring, Jorge Giordan takes the role of vice president of Engineering and Product Marketing for Latin America. Executive Mercedes Esclusa was appointed general manager for Latin America North and South, working alongside Barbery to align operations and drive regional growth.
