Whirlpool anuncia nuevo director general para Brasil en una reorganización

Whirlpool Corporation anunció cambios de liderazgo en toda América Latina. Carlos Barbery asume el cargo de director general en Brasil, en sustitución de Gustavo Ambar.

La compañía, propietaria de las marcas Brastemp, Consul y KitchenAid, señaló que los cambios tienen como objetivo acelerar la integración regional y aumentar la agilidad operativa. Barbery cuenta con 19 años de experiencia en la firma y anteriormente ha dirigido operaciones en múltiples países de la región, así como iniciativas globales en finanzas y marketing. En la misma reestructuración, Jorge Giordan asume el cargo de vicepresidente de Ingeniería y Marketing de Producto para América Latina. La ejecutiva Mercedes Esclusa fue nombrada directora general para América Latina Norte y Sur, trabajando junto a Barbery para alinear las operaciones e impulsar el crecimiento regional.
