Grupo Éxito anuncia cambios en alta gerencia

El Grupo Éxito reportó cambios en su equipo directivo con la salida de Carlos Mario Giraldo como gerente general tras más de 18 años. Juan Lucas Vega Palacio asumirá el cargo a partir del 1 de julio de 2026.

Carlos Mario Giraldo liderará la compañía hasta el 30 de junio de 2026, tras informar su decisión a la Junta Directiva en abril. Durante su gestión, la empresa consolidó innovaciones como los formatos Wow y Fresh Market, además de un negocio digital que representa cerca del 14% de las ventas en Colombia.

Giraldo destacó que deja una organización sólida y líder en el sector comercio. También mencionó el crecimiento en ropa con marcas propias y el liderazgo en centros comerciales con Viva Envigado.

Además se nombró a Paula Sanabria Campos como Chief Commercial Officer y a Juan Camilo Suárez como Chief Digital & Technology Officer. Sanabria cuenta con 26 años de experiencia en retail y Suárez con más de 28 años en transformación digital.
