WTA Finals shift to smaller Court at Indian Wells

The WTA has moved the 2026 Finals from Stadium 1 to Court 2 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. The change reduces capacity from 16,000 to around 8,000 seats. Organizers say they do not expect strong ticket sales.

Earlier this month the WTA announced the year-end event would relocate from Riyadh to Indian Wells. The latest adjustment means the entire schedule will now take place on the smaller Court 2.

Single tickets are now on sale through the WTA website, while series packages are no longer offered. The tournament is scheduled to begin 113 days from today.

Players have expressed frustration with repeated venue changes. World No. 3 Jessica Pegula said the saga continues and that world conflicts keep getting in the way.

WTA Chair Valerie Camillo had previously praised the Indian Wells Tennis Garden as an exceptional stage for the event.
