አቶ አዲሱ አረጋ እንዳሉት በምርት ዘመኑ 13 ሚሊየን ሄክታር በኩታ ገጠም መልማቱ ምርታማነትን አሳድጓል። ዘርፉ በአጠቃላይ 4.55 ቢሊየን ዶላር ገቢ አስገኝቷል፣ ከዚህም ቡና 3.1 ቢሊየን ዶላሩን ይሸፍናል።
