Authorities confirmed that Jonathan Smith Rojas, aged 28, died after being stabbed during a fight on the road connecting Neiva with Palermo.
The incident occurred in the early morning of last Saturday near the Miami establishment. According to the official report, the victim was intercepted by two men as he prepared to leave the place with his companion.
Jonathan Smith Rojas received a stab wound to the thorax and was taken to the Medilaser clinic in Neiva. Medical staff could not save his life.
The Seccional de Investigación Criminal (SIJIN) is analyzing security cameras and collecting evidence. Authorities indicate the homicide originated during a fight and do not rule out other hypotheses.
