Bottega Veneta has named Romain Spitzer as its new chief executive, with the appointment effective from September 1. Parent company Kering announced the move on Wednesday.
Kering CEO Luca de Meo said Spitzer brings the leadership and international experience needed to advance the brand. Spitzer previously served as president and CEO of the Fragrance Group at LVMH Beauty.
The appointment follows the departure of former CEO Bartolomeo Rongone, who left on March 31 after six years to join Moncler. Spitzer will work alongside creative director Louise Trotter.
Kering reported that Bottega Veneta achieved the strongest growth among its fashion houses in the first quarter of 2026. In 2025 the brand recorded 3 percent growth to reach 1.7 billion euros in revenue.
De Meo outlined plans to expand non-leather goods and increase brand visibility through more shows and events, particularly in China, while preserving the house's core identity.
