Pearl Abyss deployed patch 1.04 for Crimson Desert on Thursday, addressing ongoing issues since the open-world adventure's March release. The update introduces easy mode, which reduces incoming damage, extends parry windows, and makes bosses less aggressive with fewer counter-attacks or dodges. Hard mode reverses these effects, increasing player vulnerability, shortening dodge invincibility and parry windows, delaying health restoration from food until animations complete, and adding new boss attack patterns. All bosses now receive damage during certain powerful attacks and have adjusted counter-attack frequencies, Pearl Abyss noted in the patch notes.
