The documentary series Dark Side of the Ring returns this Tuesday with a three-part exploration of TNA Wrestling's history. Producer Evan Husney discussed the challenges of condensing decades of events into the episodes.
The seventh season of Dark Side of the Ring begins on July 7 with a three-part series on TNA Wrestling. Husney told POST Wrestling that the project started as a two-hour program but required an extension.
"We had to beg and plead for an extra hour, which thankfully, the network gave to us at the final 11th hour," Husney said. The team researched and pitched a six-part spin-off titled The Six Sides of TNA but produced three episodes instead.
TNA continues to face roster changes under president Carlos Silva and owner Anthem Sports & Entertainment. Husney noted that the company's story remains ongoing.
