Dubai chambers holds meetings in Addis Ababa to boost Ethiopia trade ties

Dubai Chambers conducted meetings in Addis Ababa with Ethiopian government and investment bodies to explore expanded trade and investment cooperation.

H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, led the discussions. The delegation met Ethiopia’s Ministry of Industry, represented by H.E. Melaku Alebel, to examine cooperation in industrial sectors and private sector partnerships.

Further talks took place with the Ethiopian Investment Commission, represented by Deputy Commissioner Zinabu Yirga, focusing on priority sectors and investment environments in both locations. A separate meeting occurred with Ethiopian Investment Holdings, represented by Deputy CEO Meleket Sahlu, to consider long-term partnerships for economic development.

The meetings formed part of a trade mission by Dubai Chamber of Commerce to Ethiopia and Ghana aimed at supporting Dubai companies in African markets.
