Italian-Colombian label Garcias will stage its first runway show in Milan today. The event fuses the designer's Colombian heritage with his Italian training.
Founder Nicolas Martin Garcia, born in Bogotá and raised in Italy since age four, launched the brand in 2023 after working at Dolce & Gabbana and Roberto Cavalli.
The show takes place in a constructed Colombian neighborhood featuring a barber shop and flower market. Garcia describes the aesthetic as Latin maximalism, blending bright Colombian colors and graphics with refined Italian silhouettes.
Garcias reported revenues of €120,000 in 2025 after €35,000 the prior year. It now works with 11 stockists and receives support from the AFRO Fashion Association.
Garcia aims to expand wholesale while building direct-to-consumer sales. The designer hopes the Milan presentation will attract new buyers and press.
