Simon Porte Jacquemus held his spring 2027 ready-to-wear show on a scenic trail leading to the Phare de la Pietra lighthouse in Corsica. The event featured 155 guests and marked the designer's first traveling show since 2024.
The collection, titled Le Bonheur, drew from Mediterranean minimalism and the designer's personal memories of Corsica. Jacquemus cited his role as a parent as a key inspiration, aiming for light and colorful designs reminiscent of ice creams.
Looks included folky headdresses, marinière-striped gowns, seersucker suiting, and water-ballerina slippers that fold easily. A standout white dress featured over 2,700 scarlet ostrich-feather bunches.
Strong winds during the show caused a parasol to detach and strike attendee Loïc Prigent on the head. He later confirmed he was unharmed via a message with the Face with Tears of Joy emoji.
Jacquemus noted the show as a return to his early womenswear roots while preparing for an upcoming entry into the beauty category.
