The Attorney General's Office has halted data collection related to the Free Nutritious Meals Program after the inventory period ended.
The Attorney General's Office issued a circular on July 10, 2026, ordering all high prosecutors' offices to stop collecting data and information on the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meals Program.
The letter numbered B-3256/F.2/Fd.2/07/2026 was signed by Jampidsus Investigation Director Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi. This follows an earlier letter numbered B-2668/F.2/Fd.2/06/2026 dated June 15, 2026, which requested an inventory of issues in the program.
Attorney General's Office Legal Information Center Head Anang Supriatna explained the halt occurred because the data collection deadline had passed and to prevent misuse. All collected data will be used in the corruption investigation at the National Nutrition Agency.
The office has named seven suspects in the case including Dadan Hindayana, Sony Sonjaya, and Police Brigadier General Lalu Muhammad Iwan Mahardan.
