Kenny Bevhula, a prominent Xitsonga musician, was buried on Saturday at Bevhula village near Malamulele in Limpopo province.
He passed away on April 20 at the age of 53 following a struggle with bladder cancer, as confirmed by SABC News reports.
Hundreds attended the funeral, including fellow artists, fans and local community members, providing a befitting send-off.
Family spokesperson Tiyiselani Bevhula stated, “Our sibling has left a lasting legacy of music which is being enjoyed by us as a family and the nation as a whole. His music will live on long after his death.”
