A man in his mid-20s was arrested Monday evening after an explosion at a villa in Västra Frölunda, Göteborg.
The explosion occurred around 21:08. A private individual wrestled the man to the ground and held him until police arrived. Police assess the incident as general dangerous destruction.
The national bomb squad was called to the scene but left shortly before midnight. The villa sustained material damage, but no one was injured. The man, who is known to police, will now be questioned.
A witness said someone threw an object at the villa and black smoke was seen. Police urge the public to keep their distance while the investigation continues.
