The Board of Directors of Banco Santander Colombia announced the resignation of Martha Isabel Woodcock after 28 years with the group. Marcel Patiño Sedan will take over the role on July 1, 2026, following authorization from the Superfinanciera.
Martha Isabel Woodcock submitted her resignation as executive president and legal representative of Banco Santander Colombia. The entity said she will begin a new professional stage after her long career.
The Board of Directors unanimously named Marcel Patiño Sedan as her successor. He has more than 25 years of experience in the financial sector and previously served as Global Head of Private Debt Mobilization at Scib in London.
The bank thanked Woodcock for her leadership and contribution to the entity's growth. In the coming months both will work on an orderly transition. Woodcock will advise operations until December 31, 2026.
