Mercedes is introducing a new clutch paddle for Kimi Antonelli this weekend as the team works to address its ongoing issues with race starts. The championship leader and teammate George Russell have started from pole in every grand prix so far this season.
Antonelli said the team is bringing multiple updates to the car ahead of the Canadian Grand Prix, including changes to the clutch system. He noted that McLaren, which uses the same power unit, has been starting much better and that Mercedes is trying to identify what it is missing.
