Paramount+ released a trailer for the second season of its crime drama MobLand on Thursday. The show will return with 10 episodes on Friday, Sept. 18. Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan reprise their roles as the heads of the Harrigan crime family.
The teaser shows the characters Maeve and Conrad living freely after their imprisonment in Season 1. Tom Hardy returns as Harry Da Souza, the family's fixer, who describes facing pressure from the Harrigans.
Season 1 concluded with the revelation of a family informant and Harry being stabbed by his wife Jan, played by Joanne Froggatt. Paramount+ renewed the series in June 2025 shortly after that finale.
The official logline for season 2 states that the Harrigans must present a united front against rivals while Harry navigates growing family tensions. Violence escalates as loyalties fracture within their criminal empire.
Reports of behind-the-scenes issues involving Hardy ahead of a potential third season were later resolved, according to the source.
