A woman reported being thrown to the floor and punched during an argument in her Pennsylvania home bathroom, leaving her with broken ribs. Police arrested 28-year-old Alex Caudell and charged him with simple assault and harassment.
The incident took place around 7:20 p.m. on June 26. The woman was in the bathroom when Caudell arrived home and an argument began. She said he threw her to the ground after she tried to push him back.
Officers responded the next day after the woman left a voicemail for a friend describing the attack. She told police she was moving slowly and holding her right side from the pain.
Caudell was booked into the Lycoming County Prison with bail set at $25,000. The Lycoming Regional Police Department announced the charges on June 27.
