Roland's wheelchair blinded goalie in Swedish handball quarterfinal

With just over a minute left in Sunday's Swedish handball championship quarterfinal between HK Malmö and Ystads IF, the match was briefly stopped. Ystads goalkeeper Alexander Lindén complained of glare from Roland Månsson's wheelchair in the stands. Månsson, 63, from Sjöbo, was baffled by the incident.

The match in Baltiska hallen was at 27–26 in favor of Ystads IF with 1 minute and 47 seconds left, or 58:13 on the clock. Goalkeeper Alexander Lindén then asked to speak with the referee. Something at the other end of the arena was glaring at him, prompting a brief stoppage.

It turned out to be Roland Månsson's permobil causing the glare. The 63-year-old from Sjöbo was in the crowd and unaware of the issue. "I understood nothing," he told Sydsvenskan.

The interruption was short, and play soon resumed. The incident unexpectedly put Månsson in the spotlight during the tense quarterfinal.
