During Take-Two Interactive’s earnings call on May 21, CEO Strauss Zelnick said children who enjoy Roblox will naturally move on to Grand Theft Auto as they mature. He also confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 is still on track for its planned November release.
Take-Two Interactive reported its fourth-quarter and full-year results during an earnings call held on May 21. CEO Strauss Zelnick responded to a question about whether young Roblox players would want to buy an $80 Grand Theft Auto 6 when they grow older. He stated that children reach a point where they no longer want kids’ programming and seek more mature experiences instead. Zelnick added that the company’s M-rated titles are available only to those 17 and above and that engaging with interactive entertainment makes interest in such games likely.
