Taseko Mines starts copper cathode output at Florence

Taseko Mines has begun production of copper cathode at its Florence site in Arizona. The move shifts the company from a single-asset producer to a two-mine platform.

The first pounds of copper cathode were poured at the new asset, according to a recent analysis of the development. Florence is expected to deliver low-cost output with C1 costs below those at the company's Gibraltar mine and most global peers.
