Taseko Mines débute la production de cathodes de cuivre à Florence

Taseko Mines a commencé la production de cathodes de cuivre sur son site de Florence, en Arizona. Cette étape marque la transition de l'entreprise d'un producteur à actif unique vers une plateforme exploitant deux mines.

Les premières quantités de cathodes de cuivre ont été coulées sur le nouveau site, selon une analyse récente du projet. Il est prévu que Florence fournisse une production à faible coût, avec des coûts C1 inférieurs à ceux de la mine Gibraltar de l'entreprise et de la plupart de ses concurrents mondiaux.
