Social media user “Maykeung46” posted on Threads on Thursday recalling how the late actor Patrick Tse once saved her younger brother from drowning.
The post said her father, the late veteran character actor Keung Chung-ping, had been a former colleague of Tse.
During a Sunday boat trip on Tse’s vessel, her brother began to sink while swimming. Tse jumped into the sea and pulled him to safety, leading the family to regard him as their saviour.
She added that the last time she saw Tse was at her father’s funeral in late December 1999, where he offered condolences and was remembered by her as “forever the most stylish”.
