Wren Sinclair successfully defended her WWE Women's Speed Championship against Arianna Grace at the WWE NXT Great American Bash. The match featured a five-minute time limit and ended with Sinclair forcing a submission.
Sinclair charged out of the gate with a shoulder tackle before Grace countered with an elbow. Grace targeted Sinclair's injured knee with stomps and a suplex after ramming her into the ring apron.
Birthright members including Lexis King, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Uriah Connors and Charlie Dempsey accompanied Grace to the ring. Dempsey attempted to interfere from the apron but was knocked off.
With seconds remaining on the clock, Sinclair dodged a pump kick, spun Grace around and locked in the Final Wrench submission hold. Grace tapped out, allowing Sinclair to retain the title she has held since March.
