Creative Assembly revealed new footage of Alien: Isolation 2 during the opening night of Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest on June 5. The extended teaser highlights a Xenomorph threatening a colony world.
The showcase featured moody landscapes and shadowy sci-fi interiors. A voice threatens an unknown character with their 'last chance' as the action unfolds in claustrophobic colony confines and harsh surrounding terrain. Creative Assembly and publisher Sega confirmed the game involves a desperate struggle to survive and escape. No release date was announced, though more details are expected in the future. The original Alien: Isolation launched in 2014. Development on the sequel began in 2024 to mark its 10th anniversary, with a small teaser released earlier this year. The sequel is set to arrive on PS5, Xbox, Switch 2, and PC.
