A tourist train overturned Saturday night in Cártama, Málaga, leaving at least 17 injured, most with minor injuries.
The accident occurred around 21:30 on Saturday, June 13, on Calle Santo Cristo. One of the two wagons of the train overturned while taking a curve as it carried about 30 people during the Ruta de la Tapa y el Cóctel.
Emergency services attended to between 17 and 18 injured, including nine minors aged 5 to 17. Four people, three of them minors, were taken to hospitals for evaluation, though local authorities confirmed there were no serious injuries.
The Guardia Civil is investigating the causes of the incident, which remain undetermined. The tourist train service was suspended after the event.
