شركات AT&T وT-Mobile وVerizon تتعاون للقضاء على مناطق ضعف التغطية الخلوية

أعلنت شركات AT&T وT-Mobile وVerizon عن مشروع مشترك لدمج موارد الطيف الترددي وتوسيع نطاق الاتصال عبر الأقمار الصناعية. وتستهدف هذه المبادرة معالجة فجوات التغطية المستمرة في المناطق الريفية والمناطق الأقل حظاً في الولايات المتحدة.

ذكرت شركات الاتصالات الثلاث في بيان مشترك أنها ستقوم بدمج حصص محدودة من الطيف الترددي لزيادة سعة الشبكة وتقديم تجربة أكثر استقراراً للعملاء. كما تخطط الشركات لإنشاء منصة موحدة تتيح لمشغلي الأقمار الصناعية الوصول إلى المزيد من المستخدمين وتبسيط عملية التكامل المباشر مع الأجهزة لمشغلي الشبكات في المناطق الريفية.
