Brandon Flowers has released the song Paradise from his upcoming solo album Thrasher, the follow-up to his 2015 record The Desired Effect. The track is now available ahead of the full record due Aug. 21.
The Killers frontman recorded Thrasher in Nashville with producers Shawn Everett and Jonathan Rado. Musicians on the album include David Rawlings, Bruce Bouton and Charlie McCoy.
Flowers described the project in a statement. "This is not me running away from rock & roll," he said. "I don’t want to replace my old songs. I simply found room for more."
Tickets for his North American solo tour go on sale to the public beginning at 10 a.m. local time. The dates run from Sept. 1 in Phoenix to Oct. 6 in Las Vegas.
