Eden Hazard's induction into the Premier League Hall of Fame celebrates a career defined by brilliance and joy on the pitch. The award, established in 2020, honors retired players and managers with exceptional success since 1992. Hazard, selected by existing members and a public poll, becomes the sixth Chelsea player enshrined, alongside Petr Cech, John Terry, Ashley Cole, Frank Lampard, and Didier Drogba. He shares this year's honors with Gary Neville.
Hazard joined Chelsea from Lille in 2012, famously announcing the move on Twitter: 'I'm signing for the Champions League winner.' Over seven seasons, he made 352 appearances across all competitions, scoring 110 goals. In the Premier League, he featured in 245 matches, netting 85 goals and providing 54 assists. His standout campaigns included the 2014/15 title under Jose Mourinho, where he scored 14 goals and added nine assists, earning Premier League Player of the Season, PFA Players' Player of the Year, and Football Writers' Player of the Year. John Terry called him 'Chelsea’s greatest ever player' for his ability to excite fans and teammates. Hazard will be formally honored at the event on 4 November 2025, receiving a medallion and a £10,000 charity donation.
