عقد أحمد رستم، وزير التخطيط والتنمية الاقتصادية، محادثات مع مسؤولين إيطاليين وأتراك لتعزيز التعاون في إطار برنامج منظمة التعاون الاقتصادي والتنمية لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، مع التركيز على استضافة اجتماع وزاري قادم.

ناقش رستم مع لوكا ساباتوتشي، الممثل الدائم لإيطاليا لدى المنظمات الدولية في باريس، أولويات ركيزة الحوكمة التي تشارك مصر وإيطاليا في رئاستها. تناول اللقاء فرص تعزيز التعاون المصري الإيطالي ودعم الاستثمارات العامة والمرونة الاقتصادية في المنطقة.

في اجتماع منفصل مع إيسن ألتوغ، الممثل الدائم لتركيا لدى منظمة التعاون الاقتصادي والتنمية، بحث الجانبان آليات تفعيل ركيزة التنافسية التي تقودها مصر وتركيا بشكل مشترك. أكد رستم التزام مصر بالتنسيق الوثيق مع الشركاء لضمان نجاح الاجتماع الوزاري المقبل.

أشار الوزير إلى إنجازات برنامج مصر مع المنظمة منذ إطلاقه عام 2021، والذي من المقرر أن ينتهي في وقت لاحق من هذا الشهر. كما أبرز خطط مصر لمرحلة جديدة من التعاون تركز على تمكين القطاع الخاص وجذب الاستثمارات الأجنبية.
