بدأت مجموعة الخطوط الجوية الإثيوبية في إجراء دراسات جدوى فنية بعد تلقيها طلباً من ناميبيا للمساعدة في إعادة بناء ناقلها الوطني، مع تحديد نهاية عام 2026 كموعد مستهدف للانتهاء.

أكدت مجموعة الخطوط الجوية الإثيوبية التوصل إلى اتفاق مبدئي مع ناميبيا. وذكر الرئيس التنفيذي مسفين تاسيو أن القرار النهائي يعتمد على نتائج المراجعات الهيكلية الجارية. ويجري حالياً تقييم العديد من نماذج الشراكة لتحديد أفضل إطار عمل تشغيلي. وتأتي هذه المبادرة في أعقاب طلب رسمي من ناميبيا. وتهدف الدراسات إلى تحديد مدى جدوى إعادة تأسيس الناقل الجوي في جنوب أفريقيا.
