Former Haas team principal Guenther Steiner has criticised Aston Martin for its poor start to the 2026 Formula 1 season. He pointed to the team's major investments and resources as reasons why their results are unacceptable.
Steiner made the comments during an appearance on The Red Flags Podcast. He highlighted the new Honda power unit partnership, the arrival of Adrian Newey as managing technical partner in 2025 and the construction of a new headquarters with wind tunnel facilities under owner Lawrence Stroll. After four races Aston Martin sits last in the constructors' championship with no points scored.
