Heliot Ramos hit two home runs and a triple to lead the San Francisco Giants to a 10-1 win over the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday night at Oracle Park.
Ramos opened the scoring with a leadoff triple in the first inning that bounced off the right-center wall. He added a three-run homer in the sixth and a 444-foot two-run shot in the eighth for his first career multi-homer game.
Ramos finished 3-for-5 with five RBIs. His performance marked the first time a Giants player had two homers and a triple in one game since Pablo Sandoval in 2011. He has hit .313 with four homers since returning from injury on June 28.
Landen Roupp pitched eight innings and allowed one run for his first win since April 26, ending an 11-game losing streak in his starts. The Blue Jays scored their only run on a sixth-inning homer by Kazuma Okamoto.
