أعلن مجلس الاتحاد لـ "فانا ديجيتال" أن مراسم الجنازة تكريماً لسفراء "آفي غوباي" السابقين ستقام اليوم. وقد نظمت لجنة مخصصة المراسم التي ترافق رفاتهم - بمصاحبة فرقة موسيقية عسكرية - من مساكنهم إلى كنيسة كاتدرائية الثالوث المقدس في "منبيري تسيهاوت" لإجراء مراسم الدفن. ووفقاً للمجلس، فقد توفي هؤلاء السفراء بعد صراع مع المرض أثناء تلقيهم العلاج الطبي. وتقام الفعالية في أديس أبابا.
