بعد توقيع اتفاقية التجارة المتبادلة بين إندونيسيا والولايات المتحدة (ART) في 19 فبراير 2026، دعت نائبة رئيس لجنة الشؤون السابعة في مجلس النواب تشوسنونيا خاليم إلى مراجعة حكومية وسط مخاوف بشأن التزامات الطاقة بقيمة 15 مليار دولار، ومتطلبات المحتوى المحلي، ومخاطر على المزارعين. أفاد وزير الطاقة بحليل لحاداليا بأن الصفقة تحول مصادر الاستيراد دون زيادة الحجم.
