Jaylen Warren trains intensely ahead of Steelers camp

Steelers running back Jaylen Warren has been captured in a new video performing rigorous offseason drills just weeks before training camp begins.

The footage, shared by the RBEAST Instagram account on July 15, shows Warren working on footwork through cones and cans as well as conditioning with uphill runs. He wore his Steelers helmet during the session and was joined by Detroit Lions running back Sione Vaki.

Warren has maintained his reputation for keeping his helmet on throughout practices. He recently told reporters he had dropped to 208 pounds during spring workouts, close to his NFL Combine weight of 207 pounds.

Teammate Kaleb Johnson was also seen training separately with veteran runner David Montgomery. Warren and Rico Dowdle are expected to share Pittsburgh’s backfield this season under new coach Mike McCarthy.

Pittsburgh’s first training camp practice is scheduled for July 29.
