An El Financiero poll shows Morena leading preferences in Michoacán with 36 percent, but the advantage narrows against independent candidate Grecia Quiroz.
The telephone poll conducted from July 9 to 12, 2026, among 500 adults with valid voter IDs gives Morena 36 percent voting intention, followed by PAN with 14 percent and PRI with 9 percent.
In a hypothetical matchup, Morena's Raúl Morón obtains 26 percent against 20 percent for Grecia Quiroz. Within Morena, Carlos Torres Piña leads with 19 percent, followed by Fabiola Alanís Sámano with 18 percent and Raúl Morón with 15 percent.
Grecia Quiroz, mayor of Uruapan and widow of Carlos Manzo, has rejected alliances and maintains her independent candidacy through the Movimiento del Sombrero. Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla registers 32 percent approval and 60 percent disapproval.
