اعتقلت النيابة العامة في كوريا الجنوبية مبتكري عملة الميم "CatFi" القائمة على شبكة "سولانا" بتهمة التلاعب بالسوق، مما تسبب في خسائر للمستثمرين بلغت حوالي 599 ألف دولار. وتعد هذه الاعتقالات أول تطبيق لقانون حماية مستخدمي الأصول الافتراضية الجديد في البلاد، فيما قفزت العملة بنسبة 6000 بالمئة عقب عمليات الاحتجاز.

تستهدف الاعتقالات الأفراد المسؤولين عن "CatFi"، وهي عملة ميم تم إطلاقها عبر منصة "Pump.fun". وتدعي النيابة أن المبتكرين قاموا بسحب السيولة من المشروع، مما أدى إلى إلحاق أضرار جسيمة بالمستثمرين. وتمثل هذه القضية المرة الأولى التي يتم فيها استخدام قانون حماية مستخدمي الأصول الافتراضية في إجراء تنفيذي من هذا النوع.
