The National Health Superintendency ordered the closure of plastic surgery, aesthetic and pharmaceutical services at Clínica Láser Surgical in Bogotá for violating a prior precautionary measure.
On May 29, 2026, Supersalud imposed a precautionary measure suspending services until habilitation conditions were verified. The decision responded to complaints from six patients about irregularities in care, inconsistencies in clinical records and dissatisfaction with surgical results. On June 5 authorities inspected the site with support from the National Police following citizen complaints. They found the clinic had reopened services despite the prohibition. Supersalud classified the irregularities as critical and will assume preferential competence to verify compliance with the adopted measures.
