Trial starts for disappearance of Loan Danilo Peña in Corrientes

The judicial process for the disappearance of minor Loan Danilo Peña began this Tuesday in Corrientes. Prosecutor Tamara Pourcel expects the trial to last at least six months and to break the pact of silence among the accused.

The oral debate began at 9 a.m. at the Escuadrón 48 of the National Gendarmerie. Seventeen people face charges in the case.

Prosecutor Tamara Pourcel stated that no hypothesis is ruled out. She trusts the trial will break the pact of silence.

Expectation and distrust persist in Corrientes. No one yet knows what happened to the boy.
