احتج اتحاد عمال الوجبات الغذائية المجانية (MBG) في جاوة الغربية على قرار الوكالة الوطنية للتغذية بوقف عمليات مطابخ برنامج التغذية المدرسية (SPPG) خلال العطلات المدرسية، وهددوا بتنظيم مظاهرة في جاكرتا يوم 29 يونيو 2026.

تجمع مئات المتطوعين وشركاء SPPG من مناطق مختلفة في جاوة الغربية وبانتن في شارع لويبانجانج بمدينة باندونج يوم الاثنين 22 يونيو 2026. وجادل المحتجون بأن هذه السياسة تتعارض مع تركيز برنامج الوجبات الغذائية المجانية (MBG) على النساء الحوامل والمرضعات والأطفال الصغار. صرح محمد يوسف مهارجا، وهو مساعد ميداني في مطبخ SPPG بمنطقة باندونج، بأن التوقف التشغيلي يؤثر بشكل مباشر على توزيع الغذاء للفئات ذات الأولوية، وقال: "عندما تكون المدارس في عطلة، يتم إيقاف التوزيع لتلك المجموعات أيضاً. وهذا ما نتساءل عنه". وأعلن المشاركون في التجمع أنهم سينظمون مظاهرة في جاكرتا يوم 29 يونيو 2026 إذا لم تتم مراجعة هذه السياسة.
