Officers arrived to find the elderly man unconscious, while the driver had injuries to his hands and left knee. Both were promptly taken to Tuen Mun Hospital for treatment.

Following further investigation, the off-duty officer was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving causing serious bodily injury. He is currently detained as part of the ongoing probe, handled by an investigation unit at the Traffic New Territories North Headquarters.
