A person was hit by a train at Örebro Central Station on Monday afternoon. The person is alive and receiving hospital care after the accident.
The alarm about the accident came at 5 p.m. on Monday afternoon. An extensive police operation took place at the station.
Police duty officer Olga Åkerblad confirmed that the person is alive and receiving care. She had no information about the extent of injuries. Police do not suspect any crime.
The rescue service operation ended at 5:40 p.m. Police removed the cordons about 20 minutes later. The station remained open except on and at the platform where the accident occurred. Several train departures were affected.
