AfD-ungdomsleder Hohm søger plads i forbundsbestyrelsen

Jean-Pascal Hohm, leder af AfD's ungdomsgruppe Generation Deutschland, har bekræftet sit kandidatur til partiets forbundsbestyrelse.

Det 29-årige medlem af delstatsparlamentet i Brandenburg fra Cottbus sigter efter at blive en del af AfD's ledelse ved partikongressen i Erfurt i begyndelsen af juli. Han udtalte til det tyske nyhedsbureau dpa, at den unge generation bidrager med vigtige perspektiver i forhold til at håndtere Tysklands udfordringer. Hohm har stået i spidsen for Generation Deutschland siden gruppens grundlæggelse i november 2025. Gruppen blev oprettet, efter at AfD brød med sin tidligere ungdomsorganisation, Junge Alternative. Partiledere ser gode muligheder for hans kandidatur. Daniel Tapp, talsmand for AfD's medformand Alice Weidel, udtalte, at repræsentation af ungdommen i forbundsbestyrelsen er nødvendig for at holde organisationen tæt knyttet til partiet. Dele af AfD i Thüringen har ligeledes bakket op om kandidaturet.
