Fire måneder før delstatsvalget i Sachsen-Anhalt forbereder AfD en omfattende personalemæssig omstrukturering i ministerier og myndigheder. Spidskandidat Ulrich Siegmund anser 150 til 200 stillinger for realistisk. Partiet frygter modstand fra det eksisterende administrative apparat.

AfD i Sachsen-Anhalt konkretiserer nu sine planer i tilfælde af en valgsejr. Udover nye ministre og statssekretærer skal også afdelings- og kontorchefer udskiftes. Internt nævnes op mod 250 personer som nødvendige til nøglepositioner.

Ulrich Siegmund understregede, at partiet rækker hånden ud til alle uanset politisk farve. Men hvis der forsøges aktiv obstruktion, vil tiltag være nødvendige. Planerne berører også statslige virksomheder og myndigheder.

Overvejelserne minder om fremgangsmåder hos højrefløjspartier i andre lande efter valgsejre. I USA førte et lignende greb om statsapparatet efter præsident Donald Trumps anden embedsperiode til vedvarende konflikter.
