The Argentine national team began preparations in Kansas City for the 2026 World Cup quarterfinal against Switzerland, scheduled for Saturday at 22:00.
After qualifying against Egypt, the team returned to its base in Kansas City. Lionel Scaloni's coaching staff scheduled three training sessions before the match at Kansas City Stadium.
Wednesday's practice was split into two groups. Starters performed regenerative work while players with fewer minutes completed intensity drills.
Cuti Romero was cleared after suffering cramps. Scaloni is weighing changes at right back and in attack, with Nahuel Molina and the Julián Álvarez-Lautaro Martínez pairing under review.
If they advance, Argentina would travel to Atlanta for the semifinals on July 15.
