A group of bikers allegedly performed dangerous wheelies in front of an ambulance carrying a critically ill patient in Bengaluru, delaying its movement and putting a life at risk. The incident occurred around 2 a.m. on June 4 on the road connecting Yeshwanthpur and Goraguntepalya. Family members recorded the event, and the video has gone viral.
The ambulance was rushing the patient to a hospital with its siren blaring when the bikers overtook the vehicle and performed stunts instead of giving way. Witnesses reported that the riders were not wearing helmets and that number plates were not visible on the two-wheelers.
Bengaluru police acted on a suo motu complaint and tracked down one person. They identified three two-wheelers involved in the incident. The detained individual has been identified as Rahul.
Police said the remaining accused were not found at their residences during raids. Efforts are underway to trace and apprehend them.
