Busch: Sverige skal være en førende minedriftsnation

Energi- og erhvervsminister Ebba Busch præsenterede onsdag regeringens nye mineralstrategi. Strategien har til formål at åbne flere miner i Sverige.

Ebba Busch (KD) afholdt et pressemøde, hvor hun understregede, at Sverige skal være en førende minedriftsnation. Hun præsenterede mineralstrategien, der opregner tiltag til at udnytte mineraler i den svenske undergrund. En undersøgelse vil blive iværksat i august for at gennemgå det statslige mineralgebyr. Undersøgelsen skal se på, om gebyret kan tilfalde kommuner eller regioner, hvor der findes miner. Regeringen ønsker at etablere en ny miljømyndighed for at sikre hurtigere tilladelsesprocesser og undersøge, om områder som Malmfälten og Skelleftefältet skal udpeges som områder af national interesse. Busch oplyser, at dialogen med det samiske folk er god.
